LAG OUTS
1. If 1 player lags out.  The game will continue until the end of the period.  Stats are recorded and the game is restarted to play the remaining periods.  The team that had a player lag out must take a penalty when play resumes. (Example: home teams center lags out in the first period, after restarting the game the 1st period will be the 2nd and so on).
2. Computer players that replace a human player (because of a lag out) can not score.  Any goals they score are not counted.
3. If a goalie lags out.  The game continues until the next whistle then pause and back out.  Stats will be recorded and the game restarts at the same point the goalie left.  Players wait motionless until the time on the clock reads the exact min that the goalie lagged out.  Play resumes from there and stats are added together.  In addition the team whose goalie lagged out must take a 2 min penalty (by pressing Y to instigate a fight, throwing the puck over the glass or having the goalie skate to center ice) when gameplay reaches the time that the goalie lagged out.
